Brent Lindquist-Kleissler presented at Undergraduate Research & Creative Activities Symposium at Fort Lewis College

The Fort Lewis College School of Arts and Sciences held its annual Undergraduate Research & Creative Activities Symposium on Thursday, April 21, 2016. Student participants were selected by their departments to represent the best undergraduate research and performances done at Fort Lewis College this year. Each department selects two students to give talks, and up to five groups of students to present posters or performances. Many of these students have also presented at professional conferences in their disciplines.

Brent Lindquist-Kleissler, of Greenwood Village, CO, was part of a team that presented a project titled "Studying the role of RNA secondary structure in Human T-cell Leukemia/Lymphotropic Virus Type 1 (HTLV-1) gag-pro -1 programmed frameshift site," supervised by faculty mentor Katie Mouzakis. Lindquist-Kleissler's major is Chemistry .
