Denae Fisher earned 2016 Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Women's Softball Post-Season Honors

Denae Fisher, of Tucson, AZ, earned 2016 Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Women's Softball post season Honorable Mention accolades. Fisher is a Sociology & Human Services major.

An Academic All-RMAC Honor Roll selection, Denae Fisher saw action in 42 games and started 30. She finished the season batting .327 with 33 hits, 24 runs, 17 runs batted in, five doubles and two home runs. Fisher notched eight multi-hit games, including a season best three hits at UCCS on Feb. 28.

This award is voted on by the league's sports information directors. To be eligible for consideration, a student-athlete must carry a 3.30 cumulative grade point average and must have been an active student at the institution for at least two consecutive semesters or three consecutive quarters. All student-athletes that meet those requirements, but were not voted First Team All-Academic automatically qualify for Honor Roll.
