Halan DeBoise publishes research in Metamorphosis

Halan DeBoise, of Colorado Springs, CO, published undergraduate research in the Spring 2014 edition of Metamorphosis. DeBoise's research, titled "Life on the Fence: The Hidden Power of the “Tragic Mulatto”," was overseen by faculty advisor Rebecca Clausen. DeBoise's major is Sociology/Human Services - Ethnic Studies Option.

Metamorphosis is part of COPLAC's effort to highlight some of the best recent work in undergraduate research. Each semester, faculty committees at member campuses select two outstanding projects for inclusion in Metamorphosis. Also, students who have presented at one of COPLAC's regional undergraduate conferences can submit their projects for inclusion.
