Hector Caldera attended and presented at American Chemical Society conference

Hector Caldera, of Durango, CO, attended and presented at the semi-annual American Chemical Society conference in San Diego, CA, from March 14-18, 2016. This meeting happens twice a year and is an opportunity for chemists from around the world to share research data and results.

Caldera's major is Chemistry. Caldera presented research he conducted at Fort Lewis College as part of the NIH-MARC program on campus. He conducted work for two years with Kenny Miller in the Chemistry department on the preparation and evaluation of anticancer compounds.
