Jenna Bothner Achieved CRLA Tutor Certification at Fort Lewis College

Jenna Bothner, of Boulder, CO, was certified as a CRLA Level 1 Tutor for the Algebra Alcove at Fort Lewis College. Bothner's major is Exercise Science - Exercise Physiology Option .

The College Reading & Learning Association (CRLA) is an internationally recognized group of higher education professionals in the fields of reading, tutoring, and mentoring. A Level I CRLA tutoring certification requires 10 hours of tutor training, 25 completed hours of tutoring, and a demonstrated competence as a peer educator. A Level II certification requires all that, plus an additional 25 hours of tutoring and completion of a 300-level 3-credit course in peer education. CRLA certification is the most prestigious recognition awarded to tutors at FLC.
