Jessica Thulson named to the 2016 Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Women's Golf All-Academic Honor Roll

Jessica Thulson, of Durango, CO, was named to the 2016 Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Women's Golf All-Academic Honor Roll. Thulson is a History major.

A native of Durango, Colo., Thulson led the Skyhawks this season with the lowest stroke average on the team (82.00) while competing in all 18 rounds. She owns the lowest round by a Skyhawk (74), which was recorded on Sept. 22 at the WNMU Fall Intercollegiate. The FLC women's golfer Most Valuable Player for the second straight season, Thulson graduated April 30 with a 3.74 grade point average.

This award is voted on by the league's sports information directors. To be eligible for consideration, a student-athlete must carry a 3.30 cumulative grade point average and must have been an active student at the institution for at least two consecutive semesters or three consecutive quarters. All student-athletes that meet those requirements, but were not voted First Team All-Academic automatically qualify for Honor Roll.
