Lauren Caldwell earned 2016 Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Women's Softball Post-Season Honors

Lauren Caldwell, of Parker, CO, earned 2016 Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Women's Softball post season Honorable Mention accolades. Caldwell is a undeclared major.

A sophomore third baseman, Caldwell connected for 49 hits on 129 at-bats for a .380 batting average. A 2016 Academic All-RMAC Honor Roll member, she crossed home plate 18 times while driving in 20 runs. Nine of her hits were extra base hits, eight of which were doubles. Defensively, she tallied 27 putouts and assisted on 57 (five errors) for a .944 fielding percentage.

This award is voted on by the league's sports information directors. To be eligible for consideration, a student-athlete must carry a 3.30 cumulative grade point average and must have been an active student at the institution for at least two consecutive semesters or three consecutive quarters. All student-athletes that meet those requirements, but were not voted First Team All-Academic automatically qualify for Honor Roll.
