Laurin Weiland receives Dr. Gregory W. Bell "Absolute Maximum College Algebra Award from Freshman Math Program

Laurin Weiland, of Freiburg, Germany, received the Dr. Gregory W. Bell "Absolute Maximum College Algebra Award from the Freshman Math Program. This award is for the student(s) who are considered the "top" performers in each of their respective classes, not only determined by their grade but other criteria (including class participation), as well. Weiland's major is Business Administration.

The Freshman Math Program at Fort Lewis College is designed to help all students achieve their goals for higher education by helping them develop mathematical skills and thinking, to increase their confidence in their mathematical abilities, and to inspire students to pursue mathematics with enthusiasm.
