Mary Huff receives College Mathematics HOPE Award from Freshman Math Program

Mary Huff, of Denver, CO, received the College Mathematics HOPE Award from the Freshman Math Program. This award is for students who demonstrate hard work, have possibly overcome obstacles, have shown persistence, and have high expectations, as evidenced by exponential growth throughout the term. Huff's major is English.

The Freshman Math Program at Fort Lewis College is designed to help all students achieve their goals for higher education by helping them develop mathematical skills and thinking, to increase their confidence in their mathematical abilities, and to inspire students to pursue mathematics with enthusiasm.
