Nicole Fry named to the 2016 Women's Lacrosse Academic All-RMAC Team

Nicole Fry was named to the 2016 Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Women's Lacrosse All-Academic Honor Roll.

An Exercise Science major with a 3.54 grade point average, Fry has posted two starts and played in all 12 games. She has found the back of the net seven times this season and has totaled eight points. Fry has tallied 16 ground balls, won eight draw controls and caused nine turnovers. Fifteen of her 17 shots have landed on target. A native of Steamboat Springs, Colo., Fry recorded a season high two goals on March 16 against Oklahoma Baptist.

This award is voted on by the league's sports information directors. To be eligible for consideration, a student-athlete must carry a 3.30 cumulative grade point average and must have been an active student at the institution for at least two consecutive semesters or three consecutive quarters. All student-athletes that meet those requirements, but were not voted First Team All-Academic automatically qualify for Honor Roll.
