Quinton Goffinett Presented at Undergraduate Research Symposium at Fort Lewis College

The Fort Lewis College School of Natural and Behavioral Sciences held its annual Undergraduate Research Symposium on Thursday, April 18, 2013. Student participants were selected by their departments to represent the best undergraduate research done at Fort Lewis College this year. Each department (Anthropology, Biology, Chemistry, Exercise Science, Environmental Studies, Geosciences, Mathematics, Physics and Engineering, and Psychology) selects two students to give talks, and up to eight groups of students to present posters. Many of these students have also presented their research at professional conferences in their disciplines.

Quinton Goffinett, of Cortez, CO, presented a research project titled Investigations into Tetracationic Iodonium Macrocycle Charge-Transfer Complexes and Their Application to Encapsulated Conjugated Polymers, supervised by Bill Collins. Goffinett's major is Chemistry - Chemistry Option .
