Skylyn Webb was honored at Fort Lewis College's Student-Athlete Advisory Committee banquet

Skylyn Webb, of Delta, CO, was honored with the Track & Field Most Outstanding Performer Award at the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) banquet, held April 20 in the Student Union Building Ballroom on the campus of Fort Lewis College. Webb's major is Exercise Science - Exercise Physiology Option.

"After a two year hiatus from track and field at the high school level, Skylyn has been a constant performer both indoor and outdoor," said head coach Mark Dutro. "She has been a provisional qualifier in the 400 both indoor and outdoor and significantly established four individual records (200/400 Indoor and outdoor) and two relays (4x400 indoor and 4x100 outdoor). Due to her class schedule, it has made it necessary for her to practice at odd times and mostly on her own. Her work ethic and commitment to the sport and program are top examples of what we aspire all our student-athletes to follow. All this in a program in its second year of existence and finishing her degree in three years."
