Sofia Gomez Villafane and Fort Lewis College Cycling Team Reach #2 in the Nation!

Sofia Gomez Villafane, of Los Gatos, CA, was an integral part of Fort Lewis College's recent cycling success: Fort Lewis College was named the #2 USA Cycling Collegiate Division 1 team in the nation. Gomez Villafane raced with the team for the academic year and participated in National Championships in Mountain Biking, Cyclocross, and Road. Additionally, Gomez Villafane has been named to the Collegiate All-Academic Team for maintaining a 3.5 GPA during the Spring 2014 semester while suceeding as an athlete.
