Tara Abrams attended SACNAS National Convention

Tara Abrams, of Cortez, CO, attended the SACNAS (Society for the Advancement of Chicanos/Hispanics and Native Americans in Science) National Convention in Washington D.C on October 29-31. Abrams presented a poster on her research, "Isolation and characterization of a membrane-bound pink pigment from acideobacterium capsulatum," a project with fellow student Elena Mylroie and Chemistry Professor Leslie Sommerville. Abrams's major is Chemistry - Chemistry option.
